THE case filed against a plumber accused of robbing a house at Ecoland subdivision in Davao City last week was forwarded to the Regional Trial Court (RTC).

Dickenson Juntilla Igloria, 31, of Bucana, Barangay 76-A, Davao City, who was charged with robbery, has yet to be arraigned before the sala of RTC Branch 14 George Omelio.

Prosecutor Carlos Castaños found probable cause to hold him for court trial based on the accounts of the arresting officer, PO2 Mario Fayloga of Talomo police.

In an affidavit, Fayloga said that he was on duty at 10:35 p.m. of January 5 when he was informed of a robbery in the area.

Investigation showed the house owned by Doctors Luzminda Semira and Surlito Encarnacion was ransacked by unidentified men.

Investigation also revealed that a P500,000 worth of jewelry and P4,000 cash placed inside a drawer were missing.

In the afternoon of January 7, Encarnacion told the police that they had already identified the suspect and requested for police assistance.

Castaños recommended a bailbond of P24,000 for the respondent's temporary liberty.
