Romitman wins Estefania chessfest

LEO Romitman scored 6.0 points to capture the recently-held Barangay Estefania Chess Festival 2018 Open at their village’s hall.

Stellar Mar Abanco tallied 4.5 points to finish second as Adolfo Tan Jr., Eden Agape Tumbos, Fernando Estales and Jay Ian Sarrosa scored 4.0 points apiece to finish third to sixth places.

Completing the Top 10 are Dexter Belano Jr., Armin Decena, and Anthony Ballares with 3.5 points to occupy the 7th to 9th spots while Stephen Garong settled for tenth place.

Nearly a hundred wood pushers from Bacolod competed in this event which is part of the village’s charter celebration. (HGD)
