TELEVISION host and actress Ruffa Gutierrez will fly to London soon to pursue a summer degree in International Political Economy.
Ruffa shared the good news to her more than 1.8 million followers on Twitter.
She said that it has always been her dream to study abroad.
"(I) have this thirst for knowledge. Finally...the time is right!" she tweeted.
The actress added that she chose International Political Economy, under the Business and Management department, because she found it as something that she "would like to immerse myself in".
Ruffa also tweeted why she picked King's College London in Central London among all top universities in the United Kingdom.
"@iloveruffag: Why King's College? I want to study in an elite university with a global & outstanding reputation of academic excellence. #top30universities"
Founded in 1829, King's College London is the third oldest university in England. It ranked 19th best school in Europe in the 2012 Academic Ranking of World Universities.
Its Chancellor is Her Royal Highness Anne, Princess Royal, the only daughter and second child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburg. (Sunnex)
