A 19-seater plane carrying three passengers blew a tire and skidded off the runway at an airport near the island resort of Boracay early Monday, a radio report said.
The report said the plane belonging to South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR), a local airline mainly serving tourist routes, suffered minor problem to its left landing gear.
The plane came from Manila and was carrying only two pilots and a mechanic.
Captain Jesse James Bihasa, co-pilot Reymund Cuaresmo and aircraft mechanic Gerbine Henson were all safe, according to Police Officer 2 Jaime Nerviol Jr. of Malay municipal police station.
Flights were briefly suspended at the Caticlan airport due to the incident. (Sunnex)
