A SEAMAN lost a total of P671,000 in cash, gadgets, and jewelry to a robber who entered his house in Barangay Nabali-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental early Thursday morning, August 24.
City Police Chief Antonio Benitez Jr. said Edgardo Gellangala Jr., 39, informed the police that the perpetrator destroyed the sliding window and grilles and entered the house while former was asleep with his sons.
The robber carted away P148,000 worth of gadgets and P473,000 in cash in different currencies. A pendant worth P50,000 was also stolen.
The victim discovered around 4:45 a.m. that his valuables were missing.
A man wearing a yellow shirt was seen by his neighbors passing by bearing some items. (GYM)
