FIREARMS. Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesperson Restituto Padilla said Sunday that the P370-million worth of firearms and ammunitions donated by China will be "of big help" in addressing the situation in Marawi crisis.

EMONG. Tropical depression Emong has further gained strength as it rapidly moves toward the Ryukyu Islands, a Japanese chain of islands, the state weather bureau said on Sunday, July 2.
