NO SEALING. The Philippine National Police (PNP) will no longer seal the muzzle of their guns during the holiday season to show that they are disciplined and trustworthy enough to follow rules, a police official said Monday.

REJECTED. The Philippine defense chief rejected on Tuesday, December 13, a demand by communist guerrillas for government troops to withdraw from rebel-influenced communities in the countryside for the insurgents to extend a months-long ceasefire.

NOT HAPPY. President Rodrigo Duterte revealed Monday that he was not elated by the rising number of drug personalities killed in the country, despite his administration's staunch war on narcotics sale.
