THE City Government of Silay has allocated P28.485 million for the incentives and rewards of its 633 regular employees this December.
Mayor Mark Golez told Sun.Star Bacolod on Wednesday that the regular employees will each receive a cash gift amounting to P40,000 and an additional P5,000 as performance enhancement incentive (PEI).
The PEI will be granted after Silay was adjudged as one of the awardees of Seal of Good Local Governance last October.
It will be released before Christmas Day, the mayor said.
For the incentives of the 1,035 job order employees, the city has also allocated funds, and the amount will be based on the number of their working days.
The maximum amount the job order employees can get is P5,280.
