SKYCABLE (Sky) Davao opened its 4th SkyZone at Gaisano Mall of Toril last Monday, May 8, to be closer to its subscribers in the southern part of the city as a big chunk of their subscriber-base come from this area according to a Sky executive.
Following their previous SkyZone branches in SM Lanang Premier, Gaisano Mall of Davao, and NCCC Mall, the management of Sky decided to bring closer their services to their customers Toril, Davao City.
“We saw the development in this area to be big. So we also expect the enlargement of our subscribers’ base. There are various residential and commercial developments here. Plus, there are areas that are not yet served by Sky,” said Jerico Marcos, Sky General Manager for Davao and Tagum.
SkyZone is a customer-engagement center where the subscribers can go to inquire, pay, avail of subscription, and even watch demos for the services provided for by SkyCable.
Currently, the top services highlighted by the company are their Sky Wired; their One Sky program, a broadband and cable tie-up. Consumable plan is available for P699 and P999 while the Premium plan is available for P1599.
Sky Direct services are for areas in Davao City where the Sky Wired is not yet available. This is a post-paid direct-to-home satellite service available for P250 and P450. What Sky Direct especially boasts of, that according to Marcos is not offered by other cable companies, is the high-definition ABS-CBN channel including ANC.
During their opening they also gave freebies to new subscribers.
According to Marcos, these freebies are still available until supplies last.
One of the special services that Sky boasts of is the presence of their Subscriber Relationship Representative (SRR), or representatives assigned per subscribers to address inquiries and concerns regarding their subscription and connection. Marcos said this is 100 percent available in Davao City and is not offered by any other cable companies.
