Street-level target nabbed in Liloan police ops

A 49-YEAR-OLD man was caught in a drug bust at 8:35 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in Barangay Poblacion, Liloan town, Cebu.

Superintendent Randy Korret, the town police chief, identified the suspect as Gelbert Estrada Cabig, who is known as Tibo and had been listed as a street-level target.

The suspect yielded five small packs of white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu.”

The contraband weighed 0.36 gram worth P5,248, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

A plastic container and a marked P500 bill used in the drug bust were also confiscated from the suspect, who will be facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
