THREE pool parties in three cities, one vibe. The Marco Polo hotels across the country recently hosted its first simultaneous pool party.
Drinks poured, the music blasted and guests danced in and around the pool of Marco Polo in Ortigas, Cebu and Davao.
“This Drink, Dance and Dip pool party is just a start of the many signature events of Marco Polo hotels in the Philippines. We are committed to be the trendsetter in the key cities in China, Hong Kong and Philippines. This is also to strengthen the local experience of our guests,” explains Marco Polo Hotels group director for restaurants, bars and event Bastian Breuer, who was present at the Davao event.
Garbed in their summer best or ready-to-get-wet gear, guests and partners were welcomed at the venue, The Deck at the 4th level of the hotel, by GM Dottie Wurgler-Cronin and the hotel’s Heads of Department.
The event had all the elements of a great summer party —Executive Chef Alex Destriza and his culinary team whipped up a great spread, DJs Wacky Masbad and Ashley Rivera spun good music, the hotel associates did a flash mob, and Tribung K’Mindanawan energized the scene with fire dancing.
Almost on cue, rain poured as the revelers took to the pool, voluntarily or otherwise. The party just got relocated on the wet part of The Deck.
As usual the Philippine Eagle Foundation plush toys, always the guests of honor to every Marco Polo event, were present and dressed to the occasion making them more lovable to take home for adoption.
While the mighty eagle preferred to stay dry, its fine-feathered friend, Duckie, was creating a splash at the party. Look who the fine feathered duo partied with.
