A 17-YEAR-OLD boy yielded an estimated P200,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" in a drug bust at Purok Gonzaga, Barangay Taculing in Bacolod City Tuesday night, July 18.
Operatives of City Drug Enforcement Unit of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) raided the house of the minor around 10 p.m. after he sold shabu to a police agent for P500.
The suspect is a Level 2 high-value target of BCPO, and the number one drug suspect under the watchlist of Police Station 6.
Recovered from the suspect were four big sachets of shabu, P500 marked money, and a vehicle.
The suspect said he is still a minor, but the police asked him to submit his birth certificate to determine his correct age.
Meanwhile in Barangay Handumanan, James Ambong, 28, was collared nabbed in a drug bust Tuesday.
Confiscated from Ambong were nine sachets of “shabu” worth P30,000, drug paraphernalia, and the P200 marked money.
In Negros Occidental, drug surrenderer Ponciano Tang Jr., 40 and Antonio Salgon, 24, both of Barangay 2, Victorias City were arrested last Monday that led to the recovery of five sachets of shabu, P200 cash, and the P300 marked money.
Also arrested last Monday was Vincent Evar Sanz, 44, of Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City.
Sanz yielded two sachets of shabu and the P500 marked money.
In E.B. Magalona town, Ramil Guardiano, 43, of Barangay Tanza was arrested on the same day after the police seized from him six sachets of shabu and the P500 marked money.
In Hinigaran town, Jissie Limaco, 24, of Barangay 2 was arrested after he yielded two sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia, a Smith and Wesson .22 caliber revolver loaded with six live ammunition, three cartridges, P280 cash, and the P300 marked money.
Still in the said town, Melvin Salvacion, 30, of Barangay Gargato was arrested on Tuesday after he yielded eight sachets of shabu worth P7,000 and P300 marked money.
