TWO teenagers and a security guard who were arrested in separate drug busts Monday and Tuesday were charged before the City Prosecutor's Office Thursday, October 13.
Charged for violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were Benedicto Labustero, 34, resident of Sitio Sto. Niño, Mandug and one Ismael, 18 and his minor sibling, both residents of Purok 3, Isla Verde.
Labustero, a security guard at Hidalgo Homes, was arrested at around 8:13 a.m. in a drug bust last Tuesday conducted at Deca Homes, Indangan, Buhangin.
Confiscated from him were seven sachets of suspected marijuana weighing more or less 17 grams and a P500 marked money and his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, authorities also arrested two teenagers, Ismael and his 17-year-old sibling, in a drug bust at Isla Verde, Barangay 23 at around 9 p.m. last Monday.
Confiscated from them were 19 sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" worth more or less P25,000.
The case of Labustero is being resolved by Prosecutor Maria Cynthia Adao Prat while the case of the two teenagers is being resolved by Prosecutor Mariza De los Santos Jaugan.
