A FEMALE teenager died after she was hit by a passenger bus along the national highway of Km 80-81 at Purok Roadside, Barangay Poblacion 2 in Sagay City, Negros Occidental on Monday.
The police identified the fatality as Karen Villegas, 19, of the said village.
Police records showed that Villegas was crossing the street when the speeding bus hit her around 10:10 a.m.
The bus was driven by Franklin Postrano of Barangay Mabini, Escalante City, who voluntarily surrendered to the police.
Meanwhile, a man died after he fell from a truck loaded with soft drinks at Barangay Tigbao, Calatrava town last Monday.
Arsenio Peroramas, 40, of Barangay Mahilum, road on a truck driven by Olivert Cabalquinto, 43, of Barangay General Luna, Toboso town, who lost control of the vehicle on their way to Toboso. (GYM)
