A MAN was arrested for theft while two others were collared for illegal drugs in separate operations in Bacolod City.
On January 9, Fritz Denisa of Purok Kaingin, Barangay Singcang-Airport was arrested by personnel of Police Station 8 in a hot pursuit operation after he snatched an iPad worth P15,000 and cash amounting to P200 inside a passenger jeepney.
Police recovered from the suspect the stolen items as well as an improvised firearm, a live ammunition of a .38 caliber revolver, and a sachet of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride).
Larry Bandico, 31, of Purok Rose, Barangay Cabug, was collared by personnel of Police Station 9 on the same day, after he was caught possessing two sachets of shabu.
The following day, personnel of Police Station 6 arrested John Mark Parrar of Barangay 30 in a drug bust in the said village after police seized from him seven sachets of suspected shabu, the P300 marked money, and an improvised tooter.
