Timberwolves destroy Cavaliers by 38 points, 127-99

THE Minnesota Timberwolves handed over the Cleveland Cavaliers worst loss in the season by beating them by 38 points and holding LeBron James to just 10 points.

In the first quarter alone, the Timberwolves took control of the game and being solid in defense. They led 20-4 with Cavaliers shooting 2-13 from the field at the 4 minute mark until Cleveland stopped it's shooting drought with LeBron driving inside for an and-one lay-up.

First quarter score was 32-18 where the Timberwolves shot 55 percent from the field and Cleveland shooting just 34.8 percent.

The Wolves continued to dominate at the rebounding category by outrebounding Cleveland 32-21 and led by 27 points at the end of the half game, courtesy to Jimmy Butler's buzzer beating three-point shot.

The nightmare continued in the third quarter for Cleveland as the Wolves were consistent in their aggressive defense and were able to get loose balls and making second hand opportunities. The Wolves led by as much as 41 points and LeBron James scored his 10th and final point of the game with a three-point shot.

He was soon taken out to the bench at the 5 minute mark of the third quarter and watch his teammates fall by 38 points until the final buzzer.

Kevin Love also was struggling from the field having just 3 points against his former team.

For the Wolves meanwhile, Andrew Wiggins scored 25 points and was helped by Jimmy Butler who almost had a triple-double with 21 points 9 assists and 8 rebounds. Taj Gibson and Kasrl Anthony Towns each had a double-double with Gibson having 16 points and 13 rebounds while Towns had 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Cleveland's bench players were leading the team with Jeff Green scoring 22, Dwayne Wade with 13 and Kyle Korver with 19.
