BAM Tongo crowned himself champion in the Datba weekly qualifying tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Center Lanes over the weekend.
Tongo struck for a total of 801 pinfalls after four games in the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowling Association. He outlasted Sonny Dimaano and Ramsey Tancontian who placed second and third, respectively. Dimaano toppled 799 pins while Tancontian scored 797.
Tongo pocketed P700 while Dimaano and Tancontian received P400 and P300, respectively. (ABM)
