THE fourth most wanted person in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental was arrested at Sitio Buri, Barangay Kumaliskis Tuesday morning.
Alfredo “Nene Maong” Eden, 55, has an arrest warrant for murder.
Personnel of Don Salvador Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Special Weapons and Tactics (Swat) group raided Eden’s house around 5:45 a.m.
Police recovered from his possession a .9mm submachine gun (ingram), and two magazines of the same firearm loaded with live ammunition.
A report from Police Regional Office-Western Visayas showed that Eden was the suspect in the killing of the husband of Senior Inspector Erica Apellido, head of the Women and Children Protection Desk of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
The incident happened in 2013.
Eden is detained at the station. (GYM)
