Two Cebu grads top Guidance Counselor exam

CEBU CITY -- Two gradutaes from the Cebu Normal University landed on the top ten students who passed the August 2017 Guidance Counselor Board Exam released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Monday night, August 7.

Jaseluh Remolador Saturninas got the third highest score with 88.75 percent while Marie Donnaelle Olo Yan got the 10th spot with a score of 87.55 percent.

Rachelle Abadilla Bersamin of Ateneo de Davao University got the highest rank with 90.15 percent, Kent Jan Aguirre Beldia of the Univerisity of the Philippines (UP)-Visayas-Iloilo City got the second rank with 89.30 percent.

Among the others who got into the top ten were Abigail Galindez Taladtad of Saint Joseph's College of Quezon City (SJCQC) got the fourth rank with 88.50 percent; Sheila Marie Bacharo Pamfilo of Philippine Normal University-Manila got the fifth rank with 88.20 percent; Marlon Cañero Dela Cruz of Tarlac State University got the sixth rank with 88.10 percent; Eric Lagman Dimar of SJCQC got the seventh with 88.05 percent.

On the eight spot is Maureen Antonette Bereber Ledesma of UP-Visayas-Iloilo City with 87.75 percent; Ma. Valerie Joy Lunasco Osuna of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, Inc. landed on the ninth with 87.60 percent.

Sharing with Yan on the tenth spot is Beverly Fernandez of Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta, also, with 87.50%.

PRC announced that only 256 out of 393 passed the Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination given by the Board of Guidance and Counseling in Manila, Cagayan De Oro and Cebu this August 2017.(OPM/SunStar Philippines)
