Undaloc wins TransCebu Ultra mary

VIRGILIO Undaloc was hailed overall champion in the 105-kilometer TransCebu Ultramarathon, which concluded over the weekend at the Cebu Hilltop Hotel in Barangay Busay, Cebu City.

The 30-year-old Undaloc clocked 12 hours 18 minutes and 32 seconds and outlasted 56-year-old Rodrigo Busalla by just one second. Soon Seng Ong placed third, coming in at 14:51:10.

Richard Quimque had a time of 14:51:10 and Paul Drossou checked in at 15:09:18 and completed the overall top five.

The 55K overall title was won by 41-year-old Dylan Netter, who took the crown in 6:43:10. His closest pursuers were Jayrald Salazar who timed in at 6:50:15 and Matthew Tiscomia who clocked 6:56:11.

Matthew Furniss completed the race in 7:10:12 while Ildebrando Benlot finished in 7:27:15 to bag the fourth and fifth placers, respectively.
