UNO-R, Don Bosco, Bago FC top 2018 DFL 1st conference

UNIVERSITY of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R), Don Bosco Technical Institute-Victorias and Bago FC ruled the just-concluded Dynamic Football League 2018 first conference at the Sta. Maria football field in Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Saturday.

Under (U)-9 boy’s category most valuable player Chris Edward Tolimao of UNO-R nailed a long range shot from the opposite end of the field in the opening minute which went straight to Villa Angela FC’s goal.

Villa Angela has several chances, but the Baby Rams put up a solid wall to deny the possible equalizer.

Division’s Best Striker Levon Lagahit scored all five goals for University of St. La Salle against Don Bosco’s lone goal as they secured third place honors.

Other awardees were Bago FC’s Shan Martin Villanueva (Best Defender) and Julien Andre Estomata (Best Goalkeeper); and Villa Angela’s Caleb Kurtneill Treyes (Best Midfielder).

In the U11 mix, Don Bosco was too strong for Rizal Elementary School with a 13-0 demolition job behind Best Striker Benjamin Valenciano IV who hit the back of the net with six goals.

MVP John Benedict Gulmatico added 4 goals, Best Midfielder, Franz Dominic Pagador 3 and Best Defender Joshua Jay Padilla has one. Bosconian Andri Salud was also named Best Goalkeeper giving Coach Itik Baldava's boys a sweep of the awards.

St. Scholastica’s Academy secured third place honors after demolishing USLS, 8-0.

In the U13 boys, Bago FC outsmarted and outmuscled Montevista Elementary School, 3-0 from goals of MVP Franz Noel Hervias, Frankie Felia and Kris Lorenz Tingjuy.

Other individual awardees included Bago’s Joseph Bata Tigrees (Best Striker), Franz Direkk Liansing (Best Defender) and Ashey Sacapano (Best Goalkeeper); and Montevista’s Meldy Marcoon (Best Midfielder).
