USC grad lands in top 10 of CPA board exam

A GRADUATE of the University of San Carlos made it to the top 10 of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday evening, November 2.

Marcia Pilapil Butastas ranked 10th in the exam with a rate of 89.33 percent.

Alfonso Solomon Ramos Magno of University of Santo Tomas ranked first with 91.33 percent, while Judy ann Malate Tuzon of University of the East-Manila placed secod with 91.17 percent, and Carl Louise Garcia Chan ranked third with 91 percent.

Below is the list of successful examinees:

The PRC announced that 4,511 out of 14,816 passed the exams given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi Lucena, Tacloban and Tuguegarao last October 2017. (SunStar Philippines)
