THE 1st Mayor Wantan Palanca Invitational Triathlon will be held Sunday, September 26, 7 a.m., in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Organized by the City Government of Victorias, the event aims to raise awareness for the conservation and protection of Malogo River and Gawahon Eco Park and funds for the medical treatment of Zoe Gwyneth de la Peña.
Triathletes in open individual and group relay categories will cover a 1.5-kilometer swim, 60-kilometer bike, and 12-kilometer run for Over Distance, and the 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, and five-kilometer run for Sprint Distance.
Cash and trophies are at stake.
A 5k and 12k run with free registration will also be held on the same day.(PR)
