Vidal's body now at Cebu Cathedral

THE body of Cebu Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo Cardinal Vidal, who died Wednesday morning, October 18, is now at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral for public viewing.

Msgr. Ruben Labajo, the Cathedral's parish priest, said the public viewing will start at 5 p.m. today.

Vidal died at the Perpetual Succour Hospital at 7:28 a.m. Wednesday. He was 86 years old.

His remains will stay at the cathedral until Friday, October 20, as he will be transferred to the St. Pedro Calungsod Shrine on D. Jakosalem Street, Cebu City. (SunStar Philippines)
