VXI scores twin kill

THE VXI Global Solutions scored a twin kill as the Davao Inter-BPO League (DIBL) Volleyball Tournament resumed at the Brokenshire Amphitheater over the weekend.

VXI recovered from a first set loss to escape past Offsourcing Philippines, 21-25, 25-17, 25-21, before crushing Conectys, 25-15, 25-10 to keep an unbeaten 2-0 win-loss record.

VXI team captain Paulo Seville told SunStar Davao that they relied on their skills and teamwork to win their games.

"Siguro what we differ from other teams is we treat each other as a family," Seville said, as he also cited the exceptional efforts of liberoVonn Cortez.

He added, "We are a team. We are all key players."

In other games, Alorica also kept a clean 3-0 record after whipping Teleperformance 25-18, 25-18.

Sutherland subdued Convergys, 25-14, 25-18, as Iqor outclassed Next BPO Solutions, 25-22, 25-22.

Teleperformance, however, came back strong, spanking Ibex Global, 25-19, 25-12.

In the distaff side, Sutherland survived past Offsourcing Philippines, 21-25, 26-24, 25-15, while Alorica defeated Convergys, 25-13, 26-24, in the event officiated by Balibolista de Dabaw.
