EXCITED for the opening of two of Cebu's grand shopping malls?

Here's the latest video showing the progress of the construction of SM Seaside City Cebu and Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

The two malls are target to be completed before the end of 2015.

Robinsons Galleria Cebu is a six-storey mall that stands on a 4.7-hectare lot along General Maxilom Ave. in the Cebu City North Reclamation Area.

Robinsons Galleria Cebu is the second mall carrying the flagship brand after Robinsons Galleria Manila. It is the group’s 41st shopping mall and is the firm’s third shopping center in Cebu.

Robinsons Galleria Cebu is dubbed as the country’s first garden mall, as it adopts a green architectural design.

It will also have six cinemas, including two 3D theaters with a total seating capacity of 1,774.

SM

SM Seaside City will be the fourth largest SM mall in the country, having a gross floor area of 470,000 square meters. SM’s biggest malls are SM Megamall (570,000 sqm.), SM North Edsa (540,000 sqm.), and SM Mall of Asia (480,000 sqm.).

The mall will have a 148-meter tower, the first of its kind in the region, that offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of Cebu.

Aside from its retail component, SM Seaside City will also have entertainment and lifestyle areas. These include the Seaside Tower, a 148-meter structure with a viewing deck that offers a 360-degree view of Cebu with restaurants and bars on the side to complement the experience; and the Sky Park, an elevated area in the mall set in the midst of foliage and water features complemented by dining choices.
