THE images of the Sto. Niño and the Our Lady of Guadalupe were brought via motorcade to Mandaue City around 7 a.m. Friday for the traditional "Traslacion."
Hundreds of people joined the Traslacion, which passed by Osmeña Blvd., D. Jakosalem Street, General Maxilum Ave., Gorordo Ave., Archbishop Reyes Ave., Gov. Mariano Cuenco Ave. before reaching A.S. Fortuna St. where Mandaue City officials welcomed the two images.

The images were turned over to Mandaue City Mayor Luigi Quisumbing and other city officials.
Aside from the officials, devotees of the Sto. Niño and the Our Lady of Guadalupe welcomed the images.
The images were brought to the St. Joseph church in Mandaue City, where a Mass was held.
The two images will stay in Mandaue City for a night before they will be brought to Lapu-Lapu City on Saturday, January 20, just before the traditional seaborne or fluvial procession. (SunStar)
