WILCON Depot opened its 39th branch Friday, September 8, at Zone 5, Barangay Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
As the name suggests, Wilcon Depot is a dealer of a wide array of the latest imported and locally-made building and finishing materials. Wilcon Depot CDO has a total sales area of over 12, 00 square meters that holds quality home building materials from tiles, sanitary wares, appliances, plumbing, tools, and hardware. It also offers DIY (do-it-yourself) materials such as electrical, building materials, automotive, doors and mouldings, outdoor living, paints and sundries.
The event was participated by Wilcon Founder and Chairman Emeritus William Belo, who was recently recognized by the Philippine Retailers Association as the Father of Home building Retail and as an Outstanding Filipino Retailer Awardee for 2017.
Belo was joined by Wicon Depot’s Senior Executive Vice-President (SEVP) and Chief Operating Officer Rosemarie Bosch-Ong, and SEVP-Chief Product Officer Careen Belo.
Mayor Oscar Moreno and 2nd District Representative Maximo Rodriguez and other local government officials of Cagayan de Oro were also present in the store’s opening.
According to Bosch-Ong, the chose Cagayan de Oro as the city is a convenient place for business and recognized as the 2nd most liveable city in the country.
"I did my research. This is the hub for business that's why it is very fitting that Wilcon located its 3rd branch in Minadano, so there’s so many exciting things to look up to in Cagayan de Oro'', Bosch-Ong said.

Clients can find different quality brands at the store such as Grohe and Kohler Sanitary wares, Franke Kitchen Systems, Pozzi Bathroom Solutions, Koller Bathtubs and Shower Accessories, Direct Hardware, Rocersa and Grespania Tiles displayed their Tile Studio. Heim home interior and Heritage home furniture are featured at the Living, Kitchen and Bath (LKB) showroom. Adding to the extensive product of Wilcon is the newly launched Alphalux lighting solutions.
