YASSI Pressman clarified she never received an offer to play the iconic Filipino comic super heroine "Darna".
The new Kapamilya actress said she's flattered that people mention her name on social media, but no formal talks yet with her management team.
"Nakikita ko sa Twitter, sa Facebook, pero hindi. Even if I don't get to play the role, kung isa ako sa mga iniisip nila na posible, sobrang nakakatuwa. Thankful ako, pero wala pa talaga," she said.
The movie role was initially offered to Angel Locsin, who played the role in GMA-7, but the actress had to turn it down due to medical concerns.
Meanwhile, Pressman is thrilled to have inked a two-year deal with ABS-CBN, her first television contract.
"It's an honor. Sobra akong excited for this year, for the next two years," she said.
The 21-year-old said she's thankful for her stint in "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7" and her inclusion in Coco Martin's hit primetime series "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano." (Sunnex)
