THE Children’s Park is now open to the public, after undergoing refurbishment and improvement.
Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar together with other government officials, including the contractor, spearheaded the inauguration and reopening of the park last Friday afternoon, November 3, over a year after it was closed for renovation.
The P8.3-million project was undertaken by the Everlast Construction Company under the supervision of the City Engineer’s Office.
Salazar said the project is a gift for the children of Zamboanga and forms part of the Development of Parks component.
