THE Golden State Warriors are still looking for ways to land the veteran big man Anthony Davis to create a 1-2 punch with Stephen Curry in the National Basketball Association (NBA) 2026-2027 season.
The Warriors hope to get the 10-time All-Star Davis following the failed attempt to land LeBron James during the free agency.
Blake Silverman of Sports Illustrated said that the Golden State are serious about pursuing the former NBA champion.
Silverman said that one or multiple future Warriors first-round picks that could come when the franchise potentially bottoms out post-Stephen Curry is enticing. Davis is eligible for an extension, which will presumedly remain unresolved for some time when his injury troubles are considered.
Davis is out for one more season on his contract with the Washington Wizards, but the future of the big man in the franchise is up in the air.
