The Provincial Government of Pampanga said it provided free dentures to 10 senior citizens.

Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda accompanied the beneficiaries when the technicians fitted their artificial teeth

The initiative was made possible under the “Alagang Nanay” Preventive Healthcare Program of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and the Provincial Dental Office.

The project "aims to restore not only oral health but also the self-confidence and quality of life of senior citizens," according to the Capitol.

Vice Governor Pineda said she noticed that many seniors have incomplete teeth.

The provincial government said that the cost of dentures in private clinics ranges from ?10,000 to ?20,000.

The program had benefitted some 100 individuals. Residents who are interested to avail of the program may coordinate with Nanay Community Workers in their barangays.
