
Some 100 farmers from Guagua and Santa Rita, Pampanga have completed a training on sustainable agriculture.
The graduation ceremony took place at SM City Pampanga on Wednesday, June 25.
The SM Foundation conducted the program, dubbed Kabalikat Sa Kabuhayan (KSK), in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Tourism (DOT), local government units of Santa Rita and Guagua, Pampanga, BDO Network Bank, and St. Isidore the Farmer Learning Center, Inc.
The KSK program has empowered participants to
become entrepreneurs.
Cristie Angeles, SM Foundation’s Vice President for Livelihood and Outreach Programs, congratulated the farmers.
She emphasized the importance of sustainable farming for community development.
