The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) apprehended a man suspected of killing a lash and nail artist last July in Barangay Lourdes Sur East.
The victim, Chinnie Mae Tiglao was killed inside her shop in Barangay Lourdes Sur East.
Colonel Joselito Villarosa, Jr., director of the ACPO, presented the suspect to Angeles City Mayor Jon Lazatin on Monday.
The suspect was arrested in Iloilo following an "intense monitoring", police said.
Villarosa said the mayor helped the city police in locating the suspect and expediting the manhunt.
Lazatin expressed his gratitude to the city police for the arrest of the suspect.
Lazatin earlier condemned the killing and directed the ACPO to expedite the investigation and ensure swift justice.
“This senseless act of violence has no place in our city,” Lazatin said.
