The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) said it has intensified its Oplan Galugad, a law enforcement and anti-criminality drive, along Hadrian III Street, Barangay Balibago on Friday, August 21, 2026.
At around 9:40 pm on said date, Colonel Robert C. Domingo, head of the ACPO, said a 31-year-old woman was arrested, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for violation of Republic Act No. 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, particularly Section 10(a), with a recommended bail of ₱80,000.00.
Another Warrant of Arrest for Simple Oral Defamation, with a recommended bail of ₱3,000.00, was likewise served upon the accused.
At about 10:20 PM, a 32-year-old woman and sari-sari store owner voluntarily surrendered two reams of TS Red Tobacco Products, with an estimated value of ₱2,040.00, to personnel of Police Station 4.
At about 10:50 PM, police officers arrested a 21-year-old man by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Simple Theft, with a recommended bail of ₱10,000.00.
Also at around 10:50 PM, the raiding team spotted a 34-year-old woman standing along the street and smoking. When accosted by the cops, the suspect allegedly fled but eventually apprehended for Resistance and Disobedience upon an Agent of a Person in Authority.
During the search incidental to the arrest, police officers recovered one sachet containing shabu worth ₱20,400.
At about 11:00 PM on the same day, police operatives chanced upon and arrested two men for illegal gamblingm
The cops also arrested a 26-year-old man for possession of one caliber .38 revolver loaded with three live bullets.
During the continuation of the Oplan Galugad at around 11:50 PM, a 50-year-old man voluntarily surrendered to personnel of Police Station 4 one improvised firearm, locally known as “sumpak" with one live 12-gauge shotgun cartridge.
Domingo vowed to strengthen police visibility and continue Oplan Galugad to maintain peace and order in Angeles City.
