The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said it has committed to invest P50 million for the construction of a road, complete with lighting and drainage systems, leading to the new Pampanga Provincial Hospital in Clark Freeport.

BCDA President Jake Bingcang shared this commitment during an inspection on Tuesday, which was led by Former President and Second District Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Governor Lilia Pineda, Vice Governor Dennis Pineda and other provincial leaders.

BCDA Board members, led by Chairman Larry B. Paredes, joined the inspection.

The new provincial hospital will house 143 beds, including 17 private rooms, 16 semi-private rooms, and 110 ward beds.

The BCDA said the facility is situated at a 9,259-square meter lot inside the Changi Gateway, Clark Global City.

The state-owned firm added that the land is under an usufruct agreement between the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and the provincial government.

"The hospital will offer comprehensive clinical services, diagnostic and ancillary procedures, alongside robust support and administrative operations, enhancing healthcare accessibility for the residents of Pampanga," the BCDA said.
