CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The Pampanga Giant Lanterns remained undefeated in the 2023 Regular Season of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).
The Kapampangan ballers secured their 16th consecutive win on Saturday evening in their game against Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards with a score of 76-64.
Pampanga Giant Lanterns’ power forward Justine Baltazar of Mabalacat City dominated the game with 22 points, 24 rebounds, four steals and two blocks.
He was the player of the game.
The Pampanga Giant Lanterns is now the top seed in the North Division of MPBL 2023 Regular Season.
The game on Saturday was held at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in this city. The match was graced by MPBL founder and former Senator Manny Pacquiao.
