THE pandesal craze has come to Sta. Rita town in Pampanga as popular Wow Pandesal opened its 6th branch recently in San Basilio village.
Co-owner Erwin Galang and partners Carlito Yumul and Almar David shared that they are happy with the locals' warm welcome, as they lined up to get the first bite of Wow Pandesal's array of delicious all-day breads.
"What can we say? Pandesal is patronized regularly by the rich and the hardworking. Even if you're just scraping by, you can still afford pandesal," they said.
"It's not necessarily a celebratory food, but one that is eaten every day. And Filipinos keep on finding ways to add more delicious twists to it," the trio added.
Wow Pandesal is set to open more in stores in the countryside to better serve consumers who deserve quality and affordable bread for all.
Aside from their classic Pandesal, they also serve Cheesedesal, Ube-Cheesedesal, Spanish bread, Pan de coco and more. (PR)
