An earthquake was recorded in Mabalacat City, Pampanga on Thursday, June 19, amid the conduct of the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).
The Pampanga Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) said the epicenter was felt in Mabalacat City at around 5:18 p.m.
No ground shaking or effects were felt in the province, the PDRRMC noted.
Despite the absence of impact, the council said it activated and prepositioned its Disaster Response Equipment and
Manpower.
It added that monitoring and coordination with local disaster risk reduction and management offices were carried out to ensure public safety.
