

The price of gasoline, diesel and kerosene increased on Tuesday, July 22.
Oil firms led by Shell Pilipinas, Seaoil, Petron, and PTT jacked up the price of gasoline by P0.40 per liter; diesel by P1.10 per liter; and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
The price hike took effect at 6am on Tuesday, the second consecutive week this month.
Last week, fuel firms increased the price of gasoline by P0.70 per liter, diesel by P1.40, and kerosene by P0.80.
The Department of Energy said this latest price hike is a result of the steady oil demand growth forecasts.
The agency added that speculation on the United States' tariff policies, which affect global economic growth and energy demand impacted the price hike.
As of July 15, 2025, the year-to-date adjustments to a net increase is P9 per liter for gasoline, P11.35 per liter for diesel, and P1.85 per liter for kerosene.
