Getting Taller, Growing Bigger

Getting Taller, Growing Bigger

Buildings in Metro Clark are going from medium to high rise.

Except of course that are within the flight path of Clark International Airport, there are quite a number of edifices that are now towering the skies in the cities of Mabalacat and Angeles.

Along Macarthur Highway in Balibago, Angeles City is a growing building. Not necessarily on physical aspects alone, but Best Western Plus Metro Clark (BWPMC) is getting taller in its stature.

First was the Developer Agreement signed between Savers Group Holdings (SGH) – the owner of BWPMC – and Best Western International (BWI) for the exclusive contract of the former to assist, identify and develop hotels seeking to upgrade or affiliate with Best Western brands.

The DA was signed last July 7 by SGH Chairman and CEO Jaime Uy, President and COO Jansen Ivan Uy, and Executive Vice President Justine Shaun Uy. Representing BWI are Vice President for Asia Pacific Olivier Berrivin, Managing Director for Operations Rodney Simpson, and Managing Director for Development Cyrill Czerwonka. Yes guys, these important people from BWI went out of their way and be at BWPMC to sign the contract.

Jack or J1 as we often call him has come a long way. From that Betamax and VHS rental shop that he and siblings Allan and Dennis Anthony (yes, that equally trailblazing guy from Converge) they put up in the 1980s.

From that shop to being the largest cable TV operator and now the pure fiber internet provider, SGH is now a diverse business leader with large footprint in real estate, hotel and restaurant operations and retail. It also owns the Best Western Subic inside the Freeport. It is one of the well-loved and most successful business conglomerates in Central Luzon region.

+++++

BWPMC is not just a hotel with excellent food and beverage outlets like Sebastian Coffee Shop, Cactus Jack western resturant, Namari Japanese Restaurant and Legend Hongkong Seafood Restaurant.

It now has a pre-school for toddlers. The Tinkertots Early Learning Center has its second branch on its second floor promises to be one of the best early childhood learning facilities in Pampanga. The first branch is located in the City of San Fernando.

Having a school in the building is a brainchild of Jack’s sons Jansen (and wife Jeanie) who is now the SGH President and COO and Justine as Executive Vice President, Tinkertots is but a preview of what could become as another integrated resort not just in Metro Clark but the whole of Pampanga. And we are seeing that coming to fruition. Right inside the Savers Complex are other sports facilities like the Pickleball courts, the BW Golf Driving Range, Hacienda and Karma Lounges, various F&B outlets.

+++++

Tinkertots is it’s where little ones take their first big steps into a world of discovery.

Known for its joyful, play-based approach, Tinkertots focuses on helping children grow emotionally, socially, and academically — all while having tons of fun. Whether it’s building block towers, exploring colors, or dancing to silly songs, everything here is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. It offers three programs: Baby Play – for toddlers 17 months old by August; Tiny Tots – for kids 22 months old by August; and, Junior Tots/Nursery – for children 34 months old by August.

The new Tinkertots Angeles center features bright, cozy classrooms, a multi-purpose hall for events, and of course, the BW Kids Club — a colorful play zone where big imaginations take center stage.

+++++

Again, Best Western Plus Metro Clark is not just a building or any other hotel. It is growing in its reach and stature. It is making Metro Clark come alive. It is a complete destination for everyone.
