

Some 96 barangays in 13 localities in Pampanga remain submerged, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said as of 8 AM on Monday, August 4.
Despite fair weather conditions on the ground, the PDRRMO said floodwaters are still high in low-lying areas, particularly along the coastal towns and brangays.
In Macabebe town, some 25 barangays are still flooded.
Flooding was recorded in Barangays Batasan, Candelaria, Castuli, Mataguiti, and San Francisco, where water levels reached up to six feet.
In Candaba, seven barangays remain flooded including Barangay San Agustin (Poblacion Area), where floodwaters reached seven feet, the highest recorded in the report, according to the PDRRMO.
Minalin reported 14 barangays inundated with water levels between 1.1 to 3 feet.
Meanwhile, Masantol continues to report flooding in 10 barangays, with water levels around one to 1.5 feet in certain areas.
In the City of San Fernando, eight barangays , including Del Pilar, Lourdes, and Pandaras, are still dealing with one to two feet of flooding.
The Pampanga Provincial Social Welfare Office said that some 1,350 families or 4,740 individuals are still staying in 117 evacuation centers across the province.
