I recently came across a post listing several influencers whose pages were endorsed for takedown. It made me pause and reflect. These are not just ordinary content creators. Many of them have millions of followers and a strong presence in the digital space. Seeing them flagged for deletion made me think about the kind of content we are consuming and the standards we are holding influencers to.
Some of the names on the list include Sazchna Laparan with 6 million followers, Boy Tapang Vlogs with 5.5 million, and others like Mark Anthony Fernandez, Kuya LexTV, Miss Ginbilog, Yalu_Ok, Vic Desucatan, and MoxieTV. In total, more than 20 influencers were mentioned, with varying follower counts and endorsements for either page takedown or deletion. These actions suggest serious concerns about whether it’s misinformation, inappropriate content, or repeated violations of platform rules.
On the brighter side, I want to recognize the vloggers who have chosen to turn down offers to advertise illegal gambling. In a time when easy money can be tempting, especially with the reach and influence they hold, it takes integrity to say no. These creators are setting an example that influence should be used responsibly. Their decision not only protects their audience but also helps uphold ethical standards in the digital space. I hope more influencers follow their lead and realize that credibility is worth more than any paid promotion.
As someone working in public service, I understand how powerful digital platforms have become. They shape opinions, influence behavior, and even affect how people view government and society. That is why accountability is necessary. These takedowns are not just about punishing creators. They are about protecting the public from content that may be misleading, harmful, or unethical. At the same time, I believe the process should be fair. Creators should be informed, given a chance to respond, and treated with transparency.
I still believe in the power of social media to connect people, share ideas, and inspire change. But it needs to be a space where truth, respect, and integrity matter. These takedown endorsements are a reminder that influence is not just about numbers. It is about values. And if we want a healthier digital environment, we all need to be part of that change.
