Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the annual Brigada Eskwela for the city’s 55 public schools in preparation for the upcoming school year.
The mayor said he donated essential materials for cleanup and restoration of classrooms.
Lazatin, together with Executive Assistant Reina Manuel and Gender and Development head Mina Cabiles, distributed 40 liters of paint, four paint rollers, and 25 bags of cement to each school.
Lazatin said he also deployed three other teams to simultaneously deliver the materials to cover 55 public schools.
The mayor said this is part of his commitment to ensure that Angeles students return to safe, clean, and conducive learning environments.
“Walang iwanan sa Brigada Eskwela. Ang edukasyon ay patuloy nating inuuna,” Lazatin said.
The mayor added that he donates construction materials to public schools every year since entering public service in 2013 as a city councilor.
