Lessons from Mom: An entrepreneur's journey to building a business and a family

Rossy Wu is a true inspiration for women. Her dedication to her family and her career is something to be admired. As a mother of three, she knows the struggle of juggling motherhood and a successful career, but she never lets it get in the way of her passions.

Every morning, Rossy starts her day with a bang by waking up early to work out and get her mind and body ready for the day ahead. This routine has been a part of her life for over a decade, and it shows in her energy and drive.

After breakfast, she takes her son to school and then comes back home to work on her morning tasks. She values spending time with her daughter, the youngest among her children and wants to be present for her while still being able to work from home.

Rossy's work ethic is nothing short of remarkable. She puts in countless hours of hard work at her company, La Forge Designs, Inc., located in the bustling Berthaphil district of Clark Freeport Zone. In her industry, they don't just design, manufacture and customize unique decorative lighting, furniture and accessories - they breathe life into spaces with their artistic creations.

But it doesn't end there. Rossy also dedicates time to personal development and attends Toastmasters meetings to improve her public speaking skills.

When she comes home in the late afternoon, she devotes her time to her family and ensures that they have quality time together. She understands the importance of leading by example and educates her children through her actions, showing them how to be successful in both their personal and professional lives.

“The kids can see what you are doing. What they see is more important than what they hear,” said Rossy.

Rossy is a leader in every sense of the word. She cares for her employees like they are her own children, and they see her as a nurturing figure in the workplace. Her approach to leadership is closely tied to her motherhood experience, and she strives to help her employees become better parents and improve their lives as a whole.

"I teach my employees how to be good mothers and how to educate their children," she said, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Despite all her responsibilities, Rossy always finds time for herself and encourages other mothers to do the same. She knows that it is important to continue developing herself and never lose sight of her goals. For her, Mother's Day is a time to be grateful for the person who brought us into this world and to spend quality time with her family.

Rossy's story is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. She serves as a role model for all women who want to excel in their careers and motherhood while still making time for themselves. Her story is proof that with a strong sense of purpose, anything is possible.
