10-hour power interruption to hit Pampanga towns

THE National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled a 10-hour power interruption in some Pampanga towns on Sunday, November 15.

The power interruption will start at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will be affecting consumers of Pampanga III Electric Cooperative (Pelco-3).

Pelco-3 services almost all municipalities of fourth district, namely, Sto. Tomas, Minalin, San Simon, Apalit, Macabebe and Masantol.

NGCP cited the maintenance works to be conducted inside Mexico Substation, and along Mexico-Calumpit 69kV line as reason for the activity.

The power interruption was initially scheduled on October 24, but was deferred to a later date after the same consumers experienced a six-hour unscheduled power interruption on October 21.
