Some 1,250 hemodialysis patients from different towns in Pampanga received P2,000 each in cash assistance from the Pineda family on Tuesday, May 27.
The recipients came from the towns of Mexico, Sta. Ana, Arayat, Bacolor, Floridablanca, and Porac.
The financial aid was distributed through the provincial government as part of its continuing support to dialysis patients.
Aside from the cash assistance, each beneficiary also received half sack of rice.
The patients also received maintenance medicines under the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) said the recipients are registered under the Capitol’s medical assistance program.
