2 Floridablanca villages placed under community quarantine

FLORIDABLANCA —- The mountain villages of Nabuclod and Mawacat in this town were placed under community quarantine to arrest the spread of the dreaded coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Mayor Darwin Manalansan issued Executive Order No. 15 placing the two villages under a 10-day quarantine, which started in the noon of March 14 and will end until the noon of March 24.

Residents have been ordered to stay at home and monitor their conditions for possible symptoms of Covid-19.

The town’s Inter-Agency Task Force also recommended that residents are not to be allowed to roam in the vicinity of the barangay.

Entry into the said villages is no longer allowed as of press time.

This came after the second confirmed case of the COVID 19 infection was identified to be a resident of this town who attended a worship service in Manila.

The patient is now at the Jose B. Lingad Regional Memorial Hospital for assistive care.

The executive order assured that all necessary services and provisions will be accorded the residents of the said villages.
