2 PNP buildings inaugurated in NegOcc

TWO police stations in Negros Occidental province inaugurated their new buildings recently.

Talisay City Police Station now sits in its new building located at Lizares Avenue, Barangay Zone 12A, Talisay City while personnel of Candoni Municipal Police Station now occupy their newly constructed building at the heart of the municipality of Candoni.

Police Colonel Patrick Villacorte, acting Deputy Regional Director for Administration of Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas, led the inaugurations of the two new police station buildings together with Police Colonel Rev. Fr. Noel Ponsara, PRO6 Chaplain.

Also present during the events were Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, Negros Occidental Provincial Police Director and some of the Regional and Provincial Staff of PRO6.

In his message, Police Regional Director, Brig. General Rene Pamusmusan, PBGEN congratulated the frontliners of the province for their resilience and strength in maintaining Negros Occidental as a safe and healthy place to live, work and do business.

He also added that the inauguration and blessing of the new Talisay CPS and Candoni MPS is a much-needed positivity amid these trying times.

The local governments of Talisay and Candoni were also recognized for their remarkable support which was key to the success of the endeavor. These police stations are the approved and standard building types for both City and Municipal Police Stations. (TDE)
