The three-day event which will run until Saturday, commences with various pre-conference activities like the invitational golf tournament at Beverly Place Golf Club in this city.

The formal opening of the 27th NLABC on May 17 will be highlighted by a mini regional trade fair in the morning, and various plenary sessions during the afternoon. Each day of the conference, plenary speakers will take centerstage to talk on various business topics and give updates on North Luzon’s business development.

A Broadway-inspired musical featuring CLTV36 talents will also be held as part of the welcome dinner for the guests consisting of stakeholders, prominent business leaders, members of the local chambers of commerce and industry, key government officials, members of the academe, civic organizations, and other business associations.

The 27th NLABC is an annual event of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which aims to inform, inspire, motivate, and network businesses to spur countryside economic growth in Central and North Luzon.

In a statement, the Pampanga Chamber said “This gathering is the affirmation and confirmation of our long-aspired for development for our area. We believe that North Luzon has long been primed and ready for development, on account of its many developmental attributes in terms of transport and logistics infrastructures, human resource skills, prime agricultural areas and viable tourism site/activities in its four regions.”

“We are very thankful that the current administration has finally acknowledged North Luzon as a compelling growth corridor that will complement development in Metro Manila, thus our claim of North Luzon: This is Our Time!” it added.
